Membership Requirements

Membership of The World Tourism Association for Culture & Heritage Incorporated (WTACH.org) requires approved members to actively support the Codes of Conduct and Standards of Ethical Conduct as developed by WTACH for WTACH Membership.

Upon approval of WTACH Membership these critical aspects of our Terms and Conditions you will receive copies of these documents.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS AND CONSIDERATIONS

The Codes of Conduct and Standards of Ethical Conduct are the intellectual property of WTACH and Copyright under Australian Law.

They are not to be Reproduced, Duplicated, Copied, Distributed or Shared without prior written approval by WTACH.org"

The World Tourism Association for Culture & Heritage Incorporated – Registration INC1801058 of 32 Searl Street, Petersham, Sydney NSW2049, Australia (WTACH) provides the content on this website (www.WTACH.org) in support of its mission to promote sustainable and ethical practices as related to Cultural heritage Tourism (CHT)

Whenever you use WTACH.org you automatically agree to these Terms. You are also agreeing to our: Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy as they related to WTACH.org If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use WTACH.org or use any of the Content contained on the website.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold WTACH, its affiliates, agents, suppliers and licensors harmless from all claims, causes of action, allegations, costs, expenses, fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees), judgments, liabilities, losses, and damages arising from or relating to any breach of these Terms or your use of WTACH.org.

The content and design of WTACH.org which may at any one time consists of text, images, audio, video, animation, photographs, diagrams and any other related designs such as artwork, graphs, tables, maps, databases, online applications and/or software programmes (“Content”), is copyright of WTACH and its licensors.

Any use of WTACH Content, other than described within these Terms and Condition (Our Content) is strictly prohibited without written permission from WTACH. Nothing on the WTACH.org shall be construed as granting any license to use any WTACH Content, or any other contributors research or artistic work as displayed on WTACH.org without prior written consent.

Some Content may be in the public domain and some Content is protected by third party rights, such as copyright, trademark, rights of publicity, (IP) privacy, and contractual restrictions.

WTACH provides no guarantee or assurance that information about the third party rights status of the Content is provided on WTACH.org or that the information is correct in each circumstance.

Use of WTACH.org is strictly for personal (WTACH Member), non-commercial use only, unless you have prior written permission. You may retrieve Content on your electronic devices including PC, Laptop and Mobile devices, print one copy and/or download extracts of available page(s) from the WTACH.org for your personal non-commercial use. Content may be shared on your personal website, blog or social media page, provided: you include sufficient acknowledgment of the title and author and of the work.

Where a web link is provided on WTACH.org for the download by invitation of a digital publication such as Portable Document Format (PDF) file, Images or Diagrams etc. then the permitted use of that Content shall be defined by the copyright law of Australia and any licence statement appearing on or associated with that download. If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these Terms, your membership of WTACH and therefore, the right to use WTACH.org will cease immediately. In such instances you must, return or destroy ALL copies of the materials you have made immediately upon notification. Note: Proof of material destruction will be required in all cases.

WTACH reserves the right to change these Terms from time to time without notice; changes shall be effective upon posting. It is the users responsibility to check regularly for any updates. Note: Failure of WTACH to enforce any of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such Terms.

Periodically WTACH may update and/or makes changes to WTACH.org website Content or how the Content is served without notice.

WTACH cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to WTACH.org including any interactive features. WTACH may suspend, withdraw or discontinue serving all or any part of the WTACH.org. In such circumstances WTACH shall not be liable to you if for any reason the WTACH.org is unavailable or withdrawn at any time and/or for any period. All users are responsible for making necessary arrangements to have access to the WTACH.org

Legal Requirements & Website Usage

You may only use WTACH.org ONLY for lawful purposes. You may not use WTACH.org in any manner that may:

· Breach any applicable local, national or international law or regulation;

· Be unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect

· Knowingly transmit any data, send or upload any material that contains ANY malicious software including but not limited to:

Viruses, Trojan horses, Worms, Spyware, Adware or any other harmful programs or similar computer code intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, data or personal information or adversely affect the operation of any computer software or hardware.

You also agree not to:

· Reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of WTACH.org unless you have written permission to so.

· Access without written authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt any part of the WTACH.org, any equipment or network on which WTACH.org are stored, any software used in the provision of WTACH.org or any equipment or network or software owned or used by any third party in the provision of the WTACH.org.

These Terms are governed by the law of Australia, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.

WTACH Events Terms and Conditions

Registration for WTACH Events

General terms WTACH events are reserved exclusively for WTACH Members and invited guests. Invitations and registration for WTACH events cannot be transferred.

The final date for the acceptance of your registration for WTACH events will be notified via email

Registrations received after this date will not be accepted unless approved by the WTACH Board.

Where there is limited capacity for WTACH events registrations received after the capacity limit has been reached may be refused without prior notice.

Any registration may be revoked by WTACH for due cause, and its decision will be final in this matter.

Registration Process & Payment

Upon submission of your registration, you will be sent a message confirming receipt of your registration for this event to the address indicated on your registration.

Your registration will only be complete when you receive this confirmation and when all appropriate registration and/or other fees have been received.

Any changes to, or cancellation of WTACH events including changes to the published programme, venue information or other subsequent amendments will be published on WTACH.org

Registered delegates will be informed by email in case of event cancellation or any subsequent changes to the event. WTACH accepts no liability for expenses incurred by delegates in the case of event changes or cancellation.

It is the delegate’s responsibility to acquaint themselves and comply with the prevailing regulations at the time of the WTACH event imposed by the event host nation and any transit destinations in respect of any limitations to travel, as exampled by travel documentation, health, customs and currency regulations.

By registering for a WTACH event, you are providing your consent (and that of your Assistant, if an address has been provided) that we may email you with information relevant to your participation.

In addition, you acknowledge and accept that your name, job title and organisation will be visible in official listings of delegates. You might appear in photographs and video footage taken by WTACH and attending media during the event. Some of this content might be published and used in communications and reports in relation to WTTC activities. If you participate verbally in any spoken interviews or debates, you agree to share any intellectual property contained therein under a Creative Commons licence by attribution.

We may in turn invite you to other WTACH events and programmes that may be of interest to you. The use of your email contact and other relevant personal information will therefore, be kept on file with your prior consent and approval.
